Christina Aguilera: I'm A Huge Gamer!

Christina Aguilera and her 3-year-old son, Max, head to a dentist’s appointment on Friday (May 27) in Los Angeles.

The two were joined by the 30-year-old singer’s boyfriend, Matthew Rutler, who carried Max on the way out.

The night before, Christina dropped by Jimmy Kimmel Live where she revealed she’s a “huge gamer.”

“[I like] board games, arcade games … I have a mini arcade in my house, but it’s like old school. Like Donkey Kong and Mario,” she revealed.

“I hold the record for all of them so everyone that has a little gamer in them tries to come over and beat my score and I get a little competitive,” she added.

Christina Aguilera on Matthew Rutler: There's Love!

Christina Aguilera has opened up for the first time about her boyfriend Matthew Rutler.

The 29-year-old Burlesque singer insists they didn’t begin dating until after she filed for divorce six weeks ago. Here’s what Christina shared with People (via Daily Mail):

On Rutler being the set assistant on Burlesque: “Matthew is a special person. We had a really strong friendship on the movie. He’s the kind of person you could spend hours on the phone talking to and all of a sudden it’s daylight.”

On not rushing into things: “Once I filed for divorce, we started dating. I’m not trying to jump into anything. I just left a five-year marriage. I’m taking it slow and trying to be happy.”

On Christina and Matthew’s relationship: “There’s a love there, yes. I’m having fun, I’m dating and it’s something I haven’t had in a really long time.”

On her marriage to Jordan Bratman starting off well: “We were great the first year after [our son] Max was born. Jordan was amazing. He was the first to change Max’s diaper. Then things turned. I was nurturing Max and felt independent in the relationship.”

On maturing as a woman: “I went right into filming Burlesque [in Autumn last year]. As a musician you’re with your posse all the time, and during the movie I removed myself from mine. So I had an independence I’d never felt before. I was growing leaps and bounds daily. I went from being a girl to a woman. When I finished filming, I didn’t feel right in my own shoes [at home]. I had a lot of things stirring inside of me that I felt were being suppressed. We tried to work on the marriage and figure out a common ground, but the problems were obvious.”

Christina Aguilera Files for Divorce

Christina Aguilera has filed for divorce from Jordan Bratman.

The 29-year-old singer confirmed the split on Tuesday (October 12), saying that she and Jordan had separated but that their commitment to their son, Max, would remain strong.

Christina listed the date of separation as September 11, 2010, according to TMZ.

There is a prenup - the petition asks that Christina’s earnings before, during and after marriage be considered separate property.

Christina is seeking joint custody of Max and is asking that Jordan not be granted child support.

Max Liron got a smooch from his adoring mom Christina Aguilera as the pair, along with dad Jordan Bratman, stopped in at kids' clothing store La La Ling in Los Feliz, CA yesterday.
The Beautiful singer and her 17-month-old tot looked too cute in matching shades as they left the store. Looks like little Max is also sporting a bit of a black eye - ouch!
Earlier this year Christina was praised by her fellow famous mom Nicole Richie, whose daughter Harlow is just one day older than Max: "She's a great wife, great mom and great singer. She does it all. And I'm sure Max gets better lullabies than Harlow!"
