Expectant mommy Alanis Morissette proudly shows off her baby bump as she goes for coffee with her husband, rapper Mario Treadway, aka Souleye, on Wednesday (August 11) in Los Angeles.

Alanis had earlier stopped by Chelsea Handler’s talk show Chelsea Lately to talk about her acting chops on the new season of Weeds.

Earlier today, Alanis announced that she’s pregnant. “We’re so excited to start our family,” she said.

Alanis Morissette is expecting a baby!

The 36-year-old singer and her husband, rapper Souleye, are starting a family just three months after tying the knot at their home in Los Angeles.

Alanis recently dished to Us Weekly that she was expecting through their “25 Things You Don’t Know About Me” featurette - she listed “I am pregnant!” as her last secret item.

Congratulations to the happy couple!!

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Alanis Morissette had a wedding day – and there was no rain.

According to People, the Canadian singer married rapper Souleye, 30, whose real name is Mario Treadway, in a small ceremony in LA on May 22. The couple’s close family was reportedly in attendance at the intimate ceremony held in the singer’s home.

Alanis’ rep confirmed the news to the mag, saying she wed just a week before her 36th birthday on June 1.

The singer was previously engaged to Ryan Reynolds. Alanis was also previously linked to “Full House” star Dave Coulier, who after many years of speculation told the New York Daily News in 2008 that the singer’s breakthrough hit “You Outta Know,” was about their rocky relationship.
