Taye Diggs and his son Walker visit a farmers market on Sunday (July 31) in Hollywood, Calif.

The 40-year-old actor, with a balloon in hand, and his 1-year-old son, who shielded his nose from the outdoor odors, browsed around the market on the beautiful sunny day.

Taye recently took to his blog and wrote about his busy summer!

“I rehearsed and performed two nights at a jazz club in Miami, did an independent movie [Between Us], then choreographed for a Toyota Industrial as well as my wife’s [Idina Menzel's] performing art’s camp,” Taye wrote.

What a cutie! Proud new parents Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel shared a photo of their newborn son, Walker Nathaniel, who arrived on September 2nd, with the Associated Press on Tuesday (Sept. 15) afternoon.
The first-time parents, both 38, met while starring in the 1996 Broadway production of Rent. The happy couple wed in January 2003.

Private Practice star Taye Diggs and his wife, Broadway star Idina Menzel, have welcomed a son, according Idina’s official fan Twitter @idina_here.
The tweet reads, “Idina & Taye have welcomed baby Walker Nathaniel Diggs into the world, my friends! More details to come. Congratulations!! #idina”
Taye, 38, and Idina, 37, knew they were expecting a boy but they wanted to see what he looked like before naming him.

It looks like Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel are taking advantage of their few remaining baby-free days! The couple were spotted enjoying a night on the town in Hollywood yesterday.
Married for 6 years, Taye and his Tony-award winning wife are expecting their first child - a boy! - next month.
“They are so excited to have a boy,” a source close to the couple told In Touch earlier this year. “Taye especially is over the moon and can’t stop talking about all the things he’ll do with him!”

Taye Diggs and his wife, Broadway star Idina Menzel, are expecting a son, In Touch is reporting.
“They are so excited to have a boy,” an insider says. “Taye especially is over the moon and can’t stop talking about all the things he’ll do with him!” The Private Practice star and his wife first met while starring in Rent in 1996 and married in 2003, but Idina had been working on her career.
“I want kids. As soon as my wife says the word, I’m there,” Taye has said.
This is the first child for Taye, 38, and Idina, 37.

“[I've been ready for kids since] the day I met him,” Idina has told Us Weekly. “He wouldn’t talk about marriage, but he’d talk about me having his children. He’s always wanted kids. He grew up with four younger brothers and sisters, so he’s very comfortable around children.”
